Referrals

All referrals are carefully considered, with managers conducting a thorough matching process to ensure compatibility within the home. This includes assessing behaviours, interests, and trauma histories to ensure that any new placement is safe, appropriate, and supportive for both the referred young person and those already in placement.

Orchard Children's Homes prides itself on supporting young people to make meaningful and lasting progress while in our care. Each referral is assessed on an individual basis, ensuring that the needs, risks, and strengths of the young person are carefully considered. A placement will only be offered in a home that can fully meet the young person's needs and provide the right environment for them to thrive.
