Keren has worked in the social care sector since 2009, bringing over 15 years of valuable experience to her leadership role. She has been part of Orchard Children's Home since 2021 and has served as a Registered Manager since 2017. Throughout her career, Keren has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people in residential care, with a particular focus on trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and staff development.
Keren holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and is passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and structured environments where young people can thrive. She is highly skilled in leading teams, managing complex cases, and driving continuous improvement within care settings.
Alanna Bateman
Business Support Officer
Alanna has been part of Orchard Children's Home for nine months and is currently pursuing a diploma in Human Resources. She brings a strong foundation in early years education, with previous experience working in both nurseries and schools. Her background provides valuable insight into child development and care, enhancing her contribution to the team.
Lisa Furnell
Cherry Tree Registered Manager
Lisa has been with the company for four years, beginning her tenure as a Senior Residential Support Worker. In 2025, she was promoted to the position of Registered Manager and is currently undertaking her Level 5 Diploma in Children, Young People and Families Management.
Rae Harrison
Senior Registered Manager
Rae has five years of experience working in residential care. She joined Orchard Children's Home in 2020 as a Residential Support Worker and was promoted to Senior Residential Support Worker in 2021. Rae has continued to progress in her career, becoming a Registered Manager and, in 2025, was promoted to Senior Registered Manager.
She holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and has completed her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Racheal Nally
Senior Registered Manager
Racheal is a dedicated and experienced professional with a First-Class Honours degree in Youth Studies and over 9 years of hands-on experience working in children's residential care settings. Racheal has had registered manager (RM) roles for the past 7 years, demonstrating strong leadership, safeguarding expertise, and a consistent track record of delivering high-quality care.
Racheal has been at Orchard for the last 5 years and, in 2025, was promoted to Senior Registered Manager, contributing to the development of both staff and services.
Kayleigh Thorne
Registered Manager
Kayleigh has three years of experience in residential childcare. She joined Orchard Children's Home in 2022 as a Residential Support Worker and was promoted to Senior Residential Support Worker in 2023. Demonstrating strong leadership and dedication, Kayleigh progressed to the role of Registered Manager in 2024.
She is currently completing her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, further enhancing her skills and commitment to providing high-quality care for young people.
